Mixed Metal Connections with Mandi
Mixed Metal Connections $58.00 INCLUDES ALL MATERIALS you see in pic plus a couple small practice pieces. You will leave with a finished Bracelet.
In this class you will learn that soldering is not required to create connections between multiple pieces of metal.
When you want to connect a variety of metal components together without using heat, it is called a "cold connection.
Cold connections come in two different categories: pierced and adhered. Pierced cold connections include riveting. Adhered cold connections are created using glues, clays and bonding materials such as Epoxy.
In this class you will learn to flatten and shape your metal. We will use the pierced metal method using rivets to combine layers of material together. You will practice stamping the metal to create texture and design.
This is a beginner class and pairs well with the Beginning Fabrication class offered by Dave Young.
