A must take class for beginners! Once you know these basics, you'll be well on your way on your jewelry-making journey!


You will learn the techniques for the following:


  • Crimping on beading wire - we’ll make a bracelet and show you how to finish it with regular crimps (this technique can be used in many applications including crimping to chain).
  • Crimping on leather - we’ll make a leather necklace with a pendant of your choice, and show you how to finish it with tube crimps and a clasp.
  • A simple pair of beaded earrings
  • Finishing a stretchy bracelet


We will discuss the different types of cord, findings, tools and how to design, lay out, and finish your projects.


$34 instruction fee includes the necessary gold or silver-plated findings (clasps, crimps, headpins, etc.). Beads, pendants, and leather are additional. Several projects can be made with just one strand of beads. Please arrive a little early to select your beads, pendant, and leather.
