A must take class for beginners! Once you know these basics, you'll be well on your way on your jewelry-making journey!


You will learn the techniques for the following:


  • Crimping on beading wire - we’ll make a bracelet and show you how to finish it with regular crimps (this technique can be used in many applications including crimping to chain).
  • Crimping on leather - we’ll make a leather necklace with a pendant of your choice, and show you how to finish it with tube crimps and a clasp.
  • A simple pair of beaded earrings
  • Finishing a stretchy bracelet


We will discuss the different types of cord, findings, tools and how to design, lay out, and finish your projects.


$34 instruction fee includes the necessary gold or silver-plated findings (clasps, crimps, headpins, etc.). Beads, pendants, and leather are additional. Several projects can be made with just one strand of beads. Please arrive early to select your beads, pendant, and leather.
