| Picture Frame Pendants |
This is a great class for stampers, scrapbookers, photographers, and vintage image
collectors. Students will take pictures or other 2-D artwork and cut them into squares
or rectangles. Then pendants will be made using glass pieces, lead-free silver solder,
and a soldering iron. Add a bail and other embellishments for more personalization.
-The soldering technique takes a little patience and a little practice. Basic beading
knowledge would be helpful to incorporate your newly made pendants and charms into
your jewelry.
Supplies need:
All glass and supplies will be provided. Students must bring in the
pictures they would like to use to make into pendants. Pendants will be no larger than
3 inches in either direction so if you need to resize your images, you'll need to do that
before class.
Glass piece sizes: 1.5x1.5inch; 1x1inch; 1x3inch; 2x2inch
