Silver, fire, and hammering; if this sounds like fun to you then don't miss this class! Students will learn the basics of silver soldering and metal forming. And even if you are a little nervous around fire...don't worry; the torches are small and very controllable.   Learn to make and solder jump rings and chain closed; add bails to pendants; make your own fancy tipped headpins, even create an entire silver piece.  During class students will be making a large link chain bracelet.  Basic forming/fordging techniques will also be covered to form the silver into the link shapes.  Students will also leave with oodles of information. Classes will start with discussions about preparing metal, work space set up, and safety. Then we will form, solder, and hammer our way to a completed large linked chain bracelet, and earrings
